The Anchor Inn Nether Broughton

ABOUT US

The Anchor Inn is a traditional family run village pub in Nether Broughton, 6 miles from Melton Mowbray towards Nottingham.

The Pub was brought in November 2014 as a Freehold and since then it has grown to be somewhere you can go to have a sit down after a walk or even just to pop in after work.

​

We are traditional pub that only does wet sales, but cobs and bar snacks can be purchased subject to availability.

 

We have recently been able to uplift the inside with new carpets tables and chairs and decorating the pub to keep it fresh and we are always looking to see what is next.

​

We offer a warm cosy environment with a well stocked bar.

​

Our team consists of 1 full time members of staff and 3 part time members. ​

​

After only having the pub 3 years we were nominated for The Best Food and Drink Award which we were lucky enough to win. The following year 2018 we were nominated and to our surprise we have retained the Award. 

​

For the past 6 years 2018/2024 we have been lucky enough to be placed in the Good Beer Guide. 

​

2020/21 was a difficult time for many people due to Covid 19 thankfully with your continued support we made it through.
